I cannot believe I needed a recipe for this.
I was perusing the Crockpot Lady's blog and found this "recipe" for Lazy Chicken. I don't know if it's because I used a big pot, but I set it for 8 hours and happened to be home after about 5 and half or 6, and it was totally done. I shut it off, and then just set it back on low for about 15 minutes later on.
Also, I ended up adding a can of tomato sauce to give it some more volume. Again, this could have been because I used a 6qt; maybe a smaller pot would have been better.
Oh, and the best part of this dinner? Toddler-approved!
You know, I would never thought to make this! I'm going to try this ... always looking for an easy thing in the crockpot. I love your picture of the spaghetti on the fork!!
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat the simplicity of this dish! What a great idea!
ReplyDeletelooks great, I just recently heard about her blog and now am really wanting to use my crockpot this week.
ReplyDeleteI love how easy this is!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, Bless you for taking the time to post this. IT WAS FANTASTIC. I did sprinkle some garlic salt, basil & oregano onto the chicken before I dumped the sauce over it. The house smelled so good and the chicken was so delicious. I cant wait to work this heavily into the rotation. I am not the hugest crockpot fan because a lot of the things I make I dont care for, but this was so easy and tasted really great THANKS!
